Something Blue
I like intense, learning someone’s secrets, knowing their bodies, kissing, touching for hours. If it isn’t intense, why bother?

Positive reinforcement
Positive reinforcement definitely works with most people.
It would be quite as simple to say, “well, duh! you wanna medal?” and dismiss the other person’s small task.
It’s been my own experience that the sort of person who would have a such a bone-headed reaction would also be totally clueless and flabbergasted when the other person stopped doing stuff. “What do you mean you don’t feel appreciated?!”
There’s a Vietnamese proverb that goes something like this:
“Nice words are free, so choose words that please another ears.”
It’s amazing how hard it is for some people to understand that.

So, one of my best friend from high school, college ex-housemate, fellow Fight Club quoter, The Biologist, recently got engaged. He is traveling from California with his fiance the first week of February to begin the wedding preparations. I received the summoning to hang with them for the duration of their stay this afternoon.
Another friend, who I met while we were both suffering the bliss of working as servers in a casual dinner and made me watch The Grunge 2, but I already forgave her because she listen to me patiently, a.k.a. The Nurse, is currently back at Florida after finishing her degree last May. She had fer diploma held ransom by her college here, so she is traveling back to Puerto Rico also the first week of February. I am offering her housing for the length of her trip.
If I cannot get out the island for vacations…
Therefore I decided to listen the Signals from the Universe and I will take a well deserved real vacation the same weeks so I can do some internal tourism with them and enjoy of the company of my friends.
*”It’s been hundred years since we met here.” A Japanese expression that means it’s been too long since we last met.

Next week (January 19) The Boy is going to Florida until January 30 on account of his new job. Therefore I should use these following days to do a lot of the stuff that have been on my list and for the lack of time, will, energy, enthusiasm and priority are still pending. So here is the partial draft list of my plans as an attempt to officialize it and convince myself to do them:
- My Room – Get everything out including queen bed, 4′x8′ bookshelf and all the stuff inside my closet, vacuum, shred lots of papers, organize make-up and jewelry drawers. Need to buy some plastic containers for storage and shredder. Fix the closet so I can actually hang clothes on it.
- Bathroom – Paint it?
- Kitchen – Dreaded cabinets
- Living Room – Move stuff to make more space.
- Foyer – Organize and vacuum all the books and the (3) bookshelves.
I really hope eleven days are enough to do all and go to job one (the full time) and job two (the part-time). I also have some other ideas of things to do, like do the back -up of the laptop I’m currently using to re-install windows on it.
Wish me luck and good vibes, because I will really need it

- Then, watching Friends with my mom.
- Now, watching CSI Vegas with my mom.
- My first year studying abroad, my sister calling me to talk about the 3 new Pokémon she just watched, Psyduck, Snorlax, Jigglypuff. I was 18 she was 15 years old.
- Psyduck is constantly stunned by its headache. It usually just stands there vacantly, trying to calm its headache. When the headache gets too bad, however, it releases tension in the form of strong psychic powers.
- Snorlax spend the majority of their time sleeping, surviving off of their stored up fat. Many Snorlax only awaken once a month, and that is so they can find more food. A hungry Snorlax isn’t satisfied until it consumes 900 pounds of food, and then it goes back to sleep. If one ever sees a sleeping Snorlax, he or she should not wake it up, because these Pokémon become very grumpy if their peaceful dreams become interrupted.
- Jigglypuff often look for audiences for their soothing songs. If the audience falls asleep, which it always does, they become angry. One Jigglypuff carries a marker, and scribbles on people’s faces when they fall asleep.
